New items:

We reviewed recent changes made by individuals:
  - Mike incorporated his changes into the 1.1k version of the spec, but not
the 4.1.4 and 4.3 changes sent by David.
  - David's new 4.1.4 section:
    - Kim suggested a small grammatical change.
  - Mike's changes to the first page, mentioning the IBIS review committee
    - Accepted
  - Mike's changes to make 3.1.1 a [Package] typ/min/max requirement
    - Discussion about the terms "Waveform Simulation" and "Distortion Analysis"
    - 1.1.3 describes level 2 as "Suitable for Waveform Simulation"
    - Mike used "distortion analysis" in 3.1.1
    - Roy expressed concern over the tone of 3.1.1
  - Mike's changes to the 4.2 introduction
    - Accepted
  - Mike's level changes to 4.2.13, 4.2.14, 4.2.15
    - Accepted

AR: David revise 4.1.4 one more time to include grammatical change
AR: Mike insert new 4.3 (already sent) and new 4.1.4 (to be sent)
AR: Roy rewrite 1.1.3 and 3.1.1

We continued our review of checks starting at 3.1.2
- 3.1.2. {LEVEL 2} [Package] Parasitics must be reasonable
  - Keep as-is
- 3.1.3. {LEVEL 2} [Define Package Model] present if [Package Model] is present
  - change to level 1 because IBISCHK detects this

IBISCHK information in the IQ spec:
- David liked the IBISCHK information on some checks, and suggested that
we should we have this for all checks.
  - He also felt that the IBISCHK version specified should be the earliest
    that handles that check.
  - Also, note the IBISCHK status on the check header line, not in the body
    - This way it will appear in the checklist spreadsheets
- Bob felt that we should be less specific about versions
  - Partly to encourage people to use the latest.
  - It's easy for people to get the latest IBISCHK
  - EDA vendors incorporate the parser a little more slowly, however.
  - Bob explained IBISCHK software develeopment policies as related
to major and minor spec version changes.
    - For example, ibischk4 checks all 4.x files against the 4.2 standard
  - Bob also said it would be a big project to find those earliest
    version numbers
    - David suggested we could limit the effort by going only back to 3.2.x
- We will continue this discussion next meeting.
